Evaluation Panel judges will score and provide feedback on the applications assigned to them using the scoring rubric, and each valid application will receive five sets of reviews with scores that have been statistically normalised to ensure a level playing field. Applicants are encouraged to use this valuable feedback to strengthen and refine their solutions as they implement their projects and secure other funding sources.
After the Evaluation Panel review, up to five Finalists will be selected based on considerations that may include, but are not limited to, Evaluation Panel resulting rank order, diversity of solution type, organisational capacity, geographic diversity, and feasibility. These Finalists will have the opportunity strengthen and refine their solutions as they prepare for a live pitch event in New York City on November 29.
Following a live pitching event on November 29, the Selection Committee will make the final recommendation to the Alliance for the recipient of the $3 million award from The Alliance Prize in Circular Solutions for Flexibles. The award will be provided to one Winner in the form of multiple milestone-based payments from Alliance to End Plastic Waste.
